Viking Spur Gear Pumps (Compact Series)
Viking SG-04, SG-05/405, and SG-07 compact spur gear pumps are engineered for applications where space is limited and precise, low-volume flow is required. Built with ductile iron construction and featuring lip seal/needle bearings, these pumps deliver flow rates from 0.5 to 32 GPM at pressures up to 500 PSI. Operating temperature range is -40°F to +450°F. Ideal for pipeline injection, sampling, oil polishing, and small-volume transfer in tight installations. Magnetic drive sealless versions (SG-805/807) are also available for hazardous or zero-leakage applications.
Manufactured by Viking Pump Inc. (IDEX Corporation), Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA, the compact SG spur gear pump series is designed for applications where standard-sized pumps are simply too large. These pumps use two meshing spur gears with needle bearing support for smooth, accurate flow delivery at low volumes. The ductile iron construction provides exceptional strength in a small package, while lip seals offer reliable shaft sealing. For applications requiring zero leakage, the SG-805 and SG-807 magnetic drive versions eliminate the shaft seal entirely. These pumps are widely used in oil & gas pipeline injection, fluid sampling, lube oil polishing, and any application requiring precise, small-volume fluid transfer in space-constrained environments.
