Can Target Marketing repair pumps from other brands?

Yes — while we are authorized for Kirloskar, Viking, Sandpiper, Richter, Cognito and Dupro, our repair workshop services pumps from KSB, Grundfos, Ruhrpumpen, Sulzer, CRI, Lubi, Texmo and Goulds. Repair includes overhaul, impeller balancing, mechanical seal replacement, and performance testing per IS-1520 / ISO-9906.

How long does a complete pump overhaul take?

Typical overhaul takes 5-10 working days at our Ahmedabad workshop, depending on pump size and parts availability. Standard wear parts (impeller, seals, bearings) are stocked. Custom-machined parts or special metallurgy components add 2-4 weeks. We provide loaner pumps for critical applications during repair.

Should I repair or replace my old pump?

If repair cost exceeds 60-70% of new pump cost, replacement is usually better. Other replacement triggers: pump efficiency dropped >15% from BEP, repair frequency >2/year, energy consumption >25% above design, parts no longer manufactured. Our engineers provide a no-obligation repair-vs-replace assessment with TCO analysis.

Do you use genuine OEM spare parts?

Yes — for Kirloskar, Viking, Sandpiper, Richter, Cognito and Dupro, we use 100% genuine OEM spares as authorized dealer. For other brands, we use OEM-equivalent parts from approved suppliers, with material certification matching the original specification. All repairs come with 6-12 month performance warranty.

What is Corocoat coating and when is it needed?

Corocoat is a ceramic-based anti-corrosion / anti-erosion coating applied to pump internals (volutes, impellers) to extend life in abrasive or corrosive service. Recommended for sewage, slurry, mining tailings, chemical service. Corocoat-recoated pumps typically last 2-3x longer than uncoated equivalents in abrasive duty.
