Dupro PP / PVDF Centrifugal Pumps

Dupro PP / PVDF Centrifugal Pumps

Dupro PP / PVDF Centrifugal Pumps are solid-block-machined non-metallic chemical-process pumps engineered for handling corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents and aggressive chemicals where stainless steel cannot survive. Body and impeller in polypropylene (PP) for general acid / alkali service or PVDF (Kynar) for severe chemical service. Capacity up to 200 m³/hr, head up to 50 m, temperature up to 90°C (PP) / 120°C (PVDF).

Solid-block machining (vs moulded plastic) provides superior dimensional accuracy, higher mechanical strength and lower porosity for long service life in chemical duty. Single-stage end-suction design with closed impeller for high efficiency. Mechanical seal options include PTFE-bellow seal for general service and double mechanical seal with flushing for hazardous chemicals. Drain plug, replaceable wear ring and back-pull-out construction simplify maintenance. Available in horizontal foot-mounted and vertical close-coupled configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polypropylene (PP) is the cost-effective choice for general acids, alkalis and aqueous chemicals up to 90°C. PVDF (Kynar) handles aggressive chemicals such as concentrated sulphuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, bromine and chlorine, and extends temperature capability to 120°C. Always verify chemical compatibility against the manufacturer chart.
Solid-block machining means the pump body and impeller are CNC-machined from solid blocks of PP or PVDF, rather than moulded. This eliminates porosity (which can absorb chemicals over time), provides higher mechanical strength, and gives superior dimensional accuracy — resulting in better pump performance and longer service life in chemical service.
Dupro PP / PVDF Centrifugal Pumps cover capacity up to 200 m³/hr and head up to 50 m at maximum pressure of 6 bar. Sizes range from DN 25 to DN 150. Refer to specifications for the complete duty matrix.
PTFE bellow seal is standard for general clean-fluid service. Double mechanical seal with external flushing is available for hazardous, hot, or solids-laden chemicals. Magnetic-drive sealless option is available on request for zero-leakage service.
