Kirloskar DSM DSMT Split Case Two Stage Centrifugal Pump - 470 m³/hr Capacity 180m Head

Kirloskar DSM/DSMT Horizontal Split Case Two Stage Pumps

The Kirloskar DSM/DSMT series are horizontally mounted, axially split casing two stage centrifugal pumps designed for high-head applications. Manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), these pumps deliver capacity up to 470 m³/hr, head up to 180 metres, with delivery sizes from 50 mm to 150 mm and an operating temperature range of 8°C to 90°C. The split case construction allows technicians to remove the complete rotating unit without disturbing pipe connections and alignment. They are engineered for HVAC systems, fire fighting, irrigation, mine drainage, power plants, and water supply applications.

The DSM/DSMT two stage design generates significantly higher discharge pressure compared to single stage pumps of equivalent size, making it the ideal choice for high-head duties where multistage pumps would be over-engineered. The pump features excellent suction performance with low NPSH requirements and vibration-free operation. Available in both 50 Hz and 60 Hz configurations, these pumps can be sealed with gland packing or mechanical seals. The DSMT twin-volute variant provides improved hydraulic balance and reduced radial loads on bearings for extended service life, particularly when operating away from the best efficiency point.
