Kirloskar UP/UPL/UPH/UP(T) Horizontal Split Case Pumps

The Kirloskar UP/UPL/UPH/UP(T) series are horizontal split casing type single stage centrifugal pumps with suction and discharge nozzles integrally cast in the lower half casing. Manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), these pumps deliver capacity up to 40,000 m³/hr, head up to 220 metres, and delivery sizes up to 1220 mm. Their unique split casing design permits removal of the complete rotating unit for maintenance by simply removing the upper casing without disturbing the motor alignment or piping connections. They are engineered for water supply, fire fighting, irrigation, air-conditioning, power plants, and industrial applications.

The UP/UPL/UPH/UP(T) split case pump features a double suction impeller design that provides excellent suction performance with low NPSH requirements and vibration-free operation. The supporting feet are integrally cast in the lower half casing, ensuring robust mounting and stability. Available in both 50 Hz and 60 Hz configurations, these pumps can be sealed with gland packing or mechanical seals to suit various application requirements. The horizontal split construction offers the lowest total cost of ownership by enabling quick, in-situ maintenance without pipeline disconnection.
