The Kirloskar VEP series is a small-to-medium vertical turbine pump featuring a mixed-flow bowl assembly & surface-mounted motor — engineered for open-well, sump, canal and intake structure water lifting. Capacity up to 1,500 m³/hr, head up to 100 metres.

The VEP pump uses a multistage bowl assembly with mixed-flow / propeller-type impellers driven by a surface-mounted electric motor through a vertical line shaft. Designed for clean water with limited solids, VEP pumps are ideal where the water table is shallow but lift requirements are moderate — agriculture, water works, water transfer, intake screens and storm-water sumps. Configurable column lengths and bowl stages allow easy duty-point matching.
