Cognito Non-Metallic EODD Pumps

Cognito Non-Metallic EODD Pumps

Cognito Non-Metallic EODD Pumps are electric-operated double-diaphragm pumps engineered for reliable, low-maintenance fluid transfer in demanding chemical environments where metallic pumps cannot survive. Available in 25 mm (1"), 38 mm (1.5"), 51 mm (2") and 76 mm (3") port sizes with polypropylene, PVDF or conductive acetal wetted parts.

Solid-block-machined non-metallic body construction provides complete chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and other corrosive media that would attack stainless steel. Conductive acetal option provides static dissipation for explosive-atmosphere service. Same Cognito patented diaphragm with larger diameter / shorter stroke gives extended service life. Electric drive saves up to 90% energy compared to AODD pumps. IoT-ready platform with integrated leak detection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cognito Non-Metallic EODD Pumps are available in four port sizes: 25 mm (1"), 38 mm (1.5"), 51 mm (2") and 76 mm (3"), with maximum flow rates up to 100 GPM (378 LPM) on the 3" model.
Polypropylene (PP) is the most economical choice for general acids, alkalis and aqueous chemicals up to 80°C. PVDF (Kynar) extends temperature to 120°C and handles aggressive chemicals such as concentrated sulphuric acid and bromine. Conductive acetal is required for explosive-atmosphere applications where static charge dissipation is mandated.
PTFE diaphragms provide universal chemical compatibility for the most aggressive media. Santoprene offers excellent fatigue life for less aggressive chemicals at lower cost. Both options work with all body MOCs.
Yes — with conductive acetal body and ATEX-certified motor, Cognito Non-Metallic EODD Pumps can operate in ATEX Zone 1/2 service. The integrated leak-detector sensor plus secondary static seals provide additional safety for solvent and flammable-chemical service.
