Kirloskar RKB/RKBF/RKBK Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps
The Kirloskar RKB/RKBF/RKBK series are horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps with side suction and vertical delivery, featuring a ring-section diffuser type casing design. Manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), these pumps deliver capacity up to 850 m³/hr, head up to 850 metres, and working pressure of 40 to 64 bar, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 140°C. They are engineered for sprinkler irrigation, fire fighting, booster service, water supply to high-rise buildings, descaling, mine dewatering, and boiler feed applications.
The RKB/RKBF/RKBK pump consists of multiple ring section diffuser casings bolted to suction and delivery casings. The radial flow type impellers are provided with balancing holes for hydraulic thrust balancing. Various models are available to operate at 1450 rpm and 2900 rpm at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power supply frequency. The delivery flange is vertical, while the suction flange can be oriented left or right when viewed from the driving end, offering flexible installation options. Standard grease lubrication is provided, and these pumps are suitable for coupling with electric motors.
