Viking Internal Gear Pump - Rotary Positive Displacement

Viking Internal Gear Pumps

Viking Internal Gear Pumps are rotary positive displacement pumps that deliver consistent, pulse-free flow for a vast range of industrial fluids. With over 110 years of engineering heritage, Viking's internal gear technology handles flow rates from 1.5 to 1,600 GPM, pressures up to 200 PSI, viscosities from 1 to 440,000 cSt, and temperatures from -60°F to +450°F. Available in Cast Iron, Steel, and Stainless Steel with multiple seal options including O-Pro Barrier, mechanical seal, packing, and magnetic drive (sealless) configurations.

Manufactured by Viking Pump Inc. (IDEX Corporation), Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA, Viking internal gear pumps use a rotor/idler arrangement where liquid fills the spaces between gear teeth, is carried around the crescent-shaped separator, and is squeezed out as gears re-mesh. This action provides smooth, non-pulsating flow regardless of viscosity — from water-thin solvents to extremely thick adhesives, polymers, and asphalt. Jacketed models are available for applications requiring heated or cooled pumping. The extensive range covers industrial, energy, chemical, food, and pharmaceutical applications.
