Viking Circumferential Piston Pumps (Revolution / TRA Series)
Viking Circumferential Piston Pumps (CPP) are positive-displacement pumps engineered for the gentle handling of high-value, shear-sensitive liquids in both hygienic and industrial fluid-handling applications. The range covers Revolution® Series, TRA®20 Series and TRA®10 Series with capacity up to 450 GPM (102 m³/h), pressure to 500 PSI (34 BAR), viscosity to 2,000,000 SSU and temperature to +300°F (+150°C).
The CPP design uses two non-contacting circumferential pistons rotating in opposite directions inside a rotorcase. With no metal-on-metal contact in the pumping chamber, the pump delivers excellent solids handling (with TDC coating), low shear and high volumetric efficiency — especially on low-viscosity products. 316L stainless steel wetted parts and a wide range of porting (hygienic threaded, hygienic clamp, industrial flange) suit food, beverage, dairy, personal care, pharmaceutical and chemical applications. Single & double mechanical seals and O-ring seals provide sealing flexibility. The TRA10 and TRA20 series are remanufactureable for life-cycle cost savings.
