Richter MPB Chemical Process Peripheral Pumps with Magnetic Drive
The Richter MPB is a PFA-lined sealless peripheral (side-channel) pump with magnetic drive, specifically designed for chemical process applications requiring high head at low flow rates. Unlike conventional centrifugal pumps, the MPB delivers high discharge pressure with minimal flow, self-primes without auxiliary equipment, and handles liquids containing up to 30% gas. The compact close-coupled design with sealless magnetic drive ensures zero leakage of corrosive and hazardous chemicals.
Manufactured by Richter Chemie-Technik GmbH, Germany, the MPB features a DN 25 connection size, PN16 pressure rating, and an operating temperature range of -60°C to +150°C. The SAFEGLIDE PLUS SSiC bearings provide dry-running optimization, while the SmCo/NdFeB permanent magnets deliver 20 Nm of torque through the sealless containment. Available in L (horizontal) or V (vertical) mounting positions, the MPB is the ideal solution for dosing, sampling, recirculation, and any application where high head must be generated at low flow rates with corrosive chemicals.
