Kirloskar AT Aircooled Thermic Fluid Process Pump
The Kirloskar AT is an aircooled thermic fluid process pump with back pull-out design, purpose-built for circulating thermic fluids, synthetic oils, and hot oils at temperatures up to 350°C. Manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), it delivers capacity up to 250 m³/hr, head up to 100 metres, with delivery sizes from 32 mm to 80 mm and working pressure up to 16 bar. The air-cooled design eliminates the need for external cooling water systems, while integral foot mounting is rated for the full temperature range. Compliant with EN 22858 standards, the AT pump provides reliable thermal isolation of the volute casing for safe, efficient high-temperature operation.
The AT thermic fluid pump features a back pull-out construction that enables the complete rotating unit to be removed for inspection and maintenance without disturbing pipe connections. The air-cooled bearing and seal arrangement uses ambient air for thermal management, eliminating the need for cooling water infrastructure and reducing installation complexity. Maintenance-free mechanical seal options (balanced or unbalanced) are available for leak-free operation at high temperatures, with Grafoil packing as an alternative at the stuffing box. The thermal isolation design ensures the volute casing operates reliably even at extreme temperatures, protecting bearings and seals from excessive heat transfer.
